i know people gets mad when they try to visit their favorate site and find out they have to download java before they can view certain content on the site.they will give u option to search for java plugin but at the end of the day it will tell you to manually install it. when you even download those java at add or remove it still don't work.Don't panic am goin to show u easy ways to get java for firefox and konqueror on kubuntu.

First click
SEARCH FOR TERMINAL WHEN YOU FIND IT CLICK ON IT

COPY AND PASTE THIS COMMAND sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin sun-java6-fonts
when the downloads complete.the packages begins the installation,a screen that contains the Sun Operating System Distributor License for Java will appear and hit Enter to continue. You’ll see a dialog that asks you if you agree with the DLJ license terms. Select Yes.
